Storworks provides powerful, affordable data analysis software for IT departments worldwide. Our products have been used by very small organizations to large enterprise institutions. Our products allow you to gather information about your data very efficiently and also handles the reporting for a complete information delivery solution.
File Sense performs the data analysis to allow customers to get detailed reporting from their data. This can be done today, but that the amount of effort it requires is enormous and the time required to invest to gather this level of detail just does not make sense. Our customers wanted to know how to profile their data and this is why File Sense was created. It was simply a better way to gather large amounts of information to profile large file systems in a short period of time, in many cases that can be over 2 million files scanned in ~30 minutes. It was simply a more efficient way to do things.
With no agent required you can deploy and start analyzing data immediately in most cases. Once the Meta data is gathered file analysis is automatic with FSP Reporter; our reporting engine will auto generate your HTML, Word Document or printed report. No graphing and charting required, everything from data gathering to multi page reports is just a mouse click away.
Storworks was founded on the idea of making it easier to analyse and work with data. The need in the industry was very clear with feedback from customers. It was through a desire to manage our own networks more efficiently that we begin to develop File Sense to allow us to analyze data more frequently with less time. Like most of our customers we needed a tool specifically designed for this task. The founders of Storworks had originally been developing database tools so they knew the market very well. File Sense is just another step in the evolution of making it easier for our customers to manage data more efficiently.
