Install Notes                                                            Current Release: 5.2.1.1


Submit Results for FREE Report

If you are upgrading, uninstall the old version first.


1) Copy the “Data” folder to keep your previous data.

2) Run Un-install from the control panel

3) Reboot

3) Install the new version.

4) Install license and restart File Sense


Note: if you have a previous installation, the new install will show as an expired trial until you add the live license.  You will not be able to run the application until you select “update” to add a valid license.


Select Help / About if not sure what version you have.


All support request must include the following information to expedite a quick response:


  1. File Sense Version
  2. FileSense.log
  3. OS Installed on (XP Etc.)
  4. Description of problem
